![]() For me, this standalone overhaul brings GTA 5 halfway to being the GTA 6 that I want to see. ![]() It includes showing blood and splatter at the slightest car bump or bullet wounds appearing not exactly where the crosshair points. Successor to the Natural Realism mod set, GTA 5.5 is the sum total of all of my modding work to make the game more realistic, more fun and less buggy. There are certain conditions where realistic blood effects are triggered by unrealistic events. Players looking for hyperrealism and would nitpick every detail will have a bone to pick with this mod. Also, for people uncomfortable with these effects, there is a “Vanilla” option for less realistic gore. Additionally, AI characters show the damage you’ve inflicted on them. In terms of gameplay, the mod also improves the original game because the differences between weapons are more pronounced when used on enemies.
